Our Locations

North Lake Tahoe, California
Beyond its busy tourist image, Lake Tahoe offers a quieter side—especially on the North Shore. In winter, spring, and fall, this area becomes a peaceful place to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with nature. Our suite is a short walk from a quiet local beach and just blocks from forest trails, meadows, and streams, with access to longer hikes leading to the Tahoe Rim Trail. It is an ideal setting for solitude, reflection, and mindful time in nature.

Kamakura, Japan
Founded in the 12th century, Kamakura a historic coastal town where temples, forested hills, and the sea exist in quiet balance (about one hour train ride from Tokyo). Beyond its well-known sights, Kamakura offers a slower rhythm for those who step away from the main paths and move mindfully through nature.
Forest trails, temple gardens, and the coastline invite solo travelers to walk slowly, pause often, and reflect. This retreat embraces nature-based slow travel, creating space to breathe, observe, and reconnect—with history, the landscape, and yourself.

What We Offer
.
In Lake Tahoe, our retreat is centered on nature, quiet, and personal space. The suite is private, allowing you to move at your own pace, while offering gentle opportunities to connect when you choose. Winter retreats include a guided snowshoe walk or snow hike through nearby landscapes, followed by time to warm up with hot cocoa by the outdoor firepit or a simple Japanese tea ceremony indoors.
Our approach respects solitude while fostering a sense of belonging. We aim to create a calm, nature-based environment where you can feel welcomed—not as a guest passing through, but as part of a quiet, mindful community.
Kamakura retreat details are currently in development and will be shared as they become available.
